[edit] Prod notice

The reasons for the notice appear not to have been addressed. As I understand it, the notice was placed because this proposal is just one man's idea, has not been accepted or seriously discussed by others and is not notable. Can someone provide some references showing that others have taken this idea seriously?--Runcorn 22:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

The proposed leap cycle is an improvement on a previously published similar cycle, now explained in the revised text. Kalendis 02:55, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm sorry, this is not relevant to my concerns. With great regret, I'm referring to AfD.--R613vlu 12:39, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Although the development and evaluation of the Rectified Hebrew calendar was lead by Irv Bromberg, it is based on suggestions and correspondence from many other people from around the world. It is not appropriate to list individual names in the public forum of Wikipedia, and for that reason today Irv Bromberg's name is removed from the introductory paragraph. This Wiki entry does not represent original research -- the original research is elsewhere on the external links. The key point is that those who are interested in Calendar Reform and truly understand the issues regarding the astronomy etc. value all of the Wiki pages that are concerned with Calendar Reform. If you, R613vlu, are not such a person, then your opposition to the presentation of such information here is just vandalism. If somebody who is knowledgeable about Calendar Reform and/or astronomy and/or the traditional Hebrew calendar has concerns about this entry, let them talk. Kalendis 15:53, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
