Further additions might include publications, conferences, and history. --Email4jonathan (talk) 18:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- The article also needs verifiable references to show notability per WP:N and WP:Notability (organizations and companies) otherwise it is likely to be speedily deleted. --ukexpat (talk) 19:53, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. I've found several third-party information about RPI that I will incorporate into the article. Hopefully I can get feedback on these additions so that the article can stay. I know RPI is new (and I'm not even a member of it), but I've worked with them and know the organization represents some very big companies. But if after I make some additions, if it still isn't up to par, then lets re-evaluate whether or not it should be in Wikipedia. Thanks. --Email4jonathan (talk) 20:59, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I've added a bit more information with third-party sources. I feel that the RPI is noteworthy because of its amazing growth history, its unique goals (focusing only on recognition), and its high integration with big companies in such a short amount of time. Article could still use info about its publications and conferences. --Email4jonathan (talk) 21:47, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- "Decline speedy, current included refs seem to assert notability (and more could be added - 95 Google News hits for the old name)" by User:Pegasus. Thank you! --Email4jonathan (talk) 03:16, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
