Rector of Imperial College

The Rector of Imperial College is the highest academic official of Imperial College London. The position is currently head by Sir Richard Sykes, however it has been announced that Sir Roy Anderson will replace in the summer of 2008.

The Rector currently has the second highest salary of all UK university heads, behind the Dean of London Business School.[1].
