[edit] genetic genealogy

Hi Rebekah. It's great to have another constributor working on the genetic genealogy pages. Please don't sign your contributions to articles (but please do sign talk pages). I look forward to reading more of your contributions. — Reinyday, 06:48, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

OK. Thank you. I feel conspicuous trying to edit and thought it would only show on the history page.:-) --RebekahThorn 06:59, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

  • You asked, Who does a yDNA H sub-clade test? Family Tree DNA does. And if you are interested in genealogy, you might be interested in Rodovid and WikiTree, which are both wiki genealogy projects. — Reinyday, 16:36, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

FTDNA does the mtDNA Haplo H test but not one for yDNA H. http://www.familytreedna.com/deepclade.html yDNA H is found in India and amoung the Roma so there are not that many $$ kits and SNP sub-clades could be a long time comming. There is a yDNA project at FTDNA. http://www.familytreedna.com/public/YgeneHhaplogroup --RebekahThorn 19:20, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Sorenson companies

A tag has been placed on Sorenson companies, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Speedy deletion of Sorenson companies

A tag has been placed on Sorenson companies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

[edit] AfD nomination of Sorenson companies

I have nominated Sorenson companies, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sorenson companies. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
