Rebuild Hong Kong

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rebuild Hong Kong is a pro-democracy and pro-green website in Hong Kong containing some short movies about Hong Kong and China. It is banned in mainland China.

The website is often under attack especially before some important protests such as the Hong Kong July 1 marches and the December 2005 protest in Hong Kong. In late 2005, the webmaster of this website and Hong Kong Web Radio Station with Podcast (係播網絡電台) started a movement known as the "Hong Kong People Fighting For Democracy Online Yellow Ribbon Action" (「香港人爭普選」網上黃絲帶行動). About 48 public websites and more than 100 personal websites took part in the action.

Its webmaster, Freeman is a founding member of the Civic Party.
