Rebecca Welles was an American television actress, born Reba Tassell, sister of fashion designer Gustave Tassell. Third and fourth children, actress Gwen Welles, and Elizabeth Welles, were not fathered by Weis.

She is also credited (as "Rebecca Wells") with the part of Lucinda Cabot in the 1958 film version of the 1924 Eugene O'Neill play Desire Under the Elms.[2]
