Rebecca Welles was an American television actress, born Reba Tassell, sister of fashion designer Gustave Tassell. She was married to TV director Don Weis (1922-2000) and had two children with him, Deborah Weis and Pamela Landrum. Third and fourth children, actress Gwen Welles, and Elizabeth Welles, were not fathered by Weis.

Her first TV appearance was in the episode "A Chill on the Wind" on Studio One in 1951, where she was credited as "Reba Tassell", but subsequently she worked under the name of Welles. Active from 1951 to 1964, Welles made appearances on about 50 TV shows,^[1] including 77 Sunset Strip, Bat Masterson, Alcoa Theatre, four episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and five of Perry Mason.

She is also credited (as "Rebecca Wells") with the part of Lucinda Cabot in the 1958 film version of the 1924 Eugene O'Neill play Desire Under the Elms.^[2]
