Rebecca Toolan is an American television actress best known for playing Fox Mulder's mother, Teena Mulder, on The X-Files.
Although she has lived and worked in Canada for years, Toolan was actually born in California and raised in Minnesota. After teaching in Brazil, she got her masters' degree at the State University of Iowa and then taught theater at the Universities of Winnipeg and Manitoba.
Her feature film credits include Little Women, Knight Moves, and The Accused. She appeared in the made-for-television movies Atomic Train, Crimes of Passion: Nobody Lives Forever, Out of Nowhere, and Tears and Laughter: The Joan and Melissa Rivers Story.
