Rebecca Mitchell is a fictional character in the BBC Drama, Hotel Babylon. She was arquabley the Main character, appearing first on cast introduction in the opening credits, However, at the end of the 2nd Series she is written of and hasn't appeared in the Series since. She was the General Mangaer of Hotel Babylon until she resigned, she was generally quite stricted with staff but seemed to have good relationship with staff.

During the first Season Rebecca has a troubled marriage and often sleeps in the Hotel when she is left at home alone. Rebecca's marriage does recover, however, she does divorce her husband eventually and in the second Season finds out her Husband is in a romantic relationship with on of her Freinds.
[edit] Life in the Hotel
Rebecca is ussually quite strict with staff and often got annoyed with Anna for being late for work on numerous occasions in the First Season. In the second Season she has a romantic relationship with Charlie. However she becomes suspious of him when she sees him with another Woman and it is presumed they have split up since she left.

Rebecca left at the end of Season 2. After the Hotel was nearly taken over by Mr. Credo, the staff almost lost all their jobs, causing Rebecca to lose their trust. Charlie finds an email on Rebecca's computer that is her resignation and runs out of the Hotel after her. When Charlie catches up to her, she tells him she is leaving because the Hotel took over her life and Ruined her Marriage.
