Rebecca Gilling (born 3 November 1953 in Castlecrag, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) [1] is an Australian actress who came to prominence with an appearance in the film version of the controversial soap opera Number 96, followed by roles in television in Glenview High and The Young Doctors (playing Liz Kennedy). Gilling later achieved international recognition for her role as the heroine, Stephanie Harper, in both the mini-series and subsequent series of Return to Eden. During the 1990s she was a presenter on the Nine Network's Our House program, and is now the spokesperson for the Australian not-for-profit environmental organisation, Planet Ark.
