Rebecca Carrington

Rebecca Carrington is a British "music comedian". She is notably famous for a wide variety of spoofs from all kind of music (classical, jazz, Bollywood, Japanese...) with Joe, her 18th century cello.

Ms. Carrington studied at The Royal Northern College of Music and then went to complete her Masters of Music at Rice University in Houston, USA.

She performed with many orchestras such as the London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonia and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

She started on stage while in the USA. One of her show is called Me And My Cello.

Rebecca Carrington won several awards:
- Prix Pantheon (June 2007), a German cabaret award.
- 'Prix du public' (audience prize) at a comedy festival in Versailles in April 2007
