Reba Meagher

Reba Paige Meagher, MP is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly and, as of 2 April 2007, the NSW Minister for Health.

Meagher received her Higher School Certificate from Endeavour High School, Caringbah in 1985. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney in 1989. She gained a Master of Labour Law and Relations in 1992.[1][2]

Meagher has been the Member for Cabramatta since 1994, representing the Australian Labor Party. She was the Minister for Fair Trading from April 2003 to January 2005. She has been the Minister for Youth and Minister for Community Services since January 2005 and the Minister Assisting the Premier on Citizenship and the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs since November 2006.
