[edit] Careful!
I appreciate that you're looking to get rid of spam articles, as you did on New york city interior renovations and other pages, but you're not going about it in the right way. If an article meets the criteria for speedy deletion, then the proper course is not to delete the content, but to simply add the appropriate speedy-deletion template ({{db-spam}} in thie case). This automatically adds the article to the lists of deletion candidates that the admins refer to, and the admins will usually get to it pretty quickly.
Simply removing the content does not generate any alerts to administrators, and if an admin runs across the article by chance, it makes them have to dig through the article history to see what the fuss was all about to begin with. Just about the only time I would mess with the actual content of the article is if someone's personal information were posted in a defamatory manner.
Anyway, I hope this helps, and those of us who fight the spam and vandalism appreciate all the help we can get. Thanks, and take care. --Finngall talk 18:02, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
