Real Fine Place is a country music album by singer/songwriter Sara Evans. It is her fifth studio album and the follow up album to the platinum Restless. To date, it has sold more than a million copies in the U.S.

[edit] Making of the Album

Evans was inspired by her single "Suds in the Bucket" which became one of the biggest singles of her career. She decided to make this album more of a traditional country album. Sara along with her brother, Matt, and producer Mark Bright, set off to create an album similar to her first album Three Chords and the Truth (1997).[citation needed]

The track "A Real Fine Place to Start" was co-written by Radney Foster, who previously recorded it for his 2002 album Another Way to Go. Evans's rendition of the song became a Number One hit on the Hot Country Songs charts for her in mid-2005. Also released from this album were the songs "Cheatin'", "Coalmine", and "You'll Always Be My Baby", which respectively reached #9, #37 and #13 on the country charts. "Missing Missouri" also reached #51 based on unsolicited airplay.

"Supernatural" was originally recorded by Susan Ashton on her 1999 album Closer.
