"Reach out of the Darkness" is a 1968 single and one-hit wonder by Friend and Lover. The song was written by Jim Post and it was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. Ray Stevens and Joe South were present at the session recording of this song.

That song was featured in a television commercial in 1999 for Get-Together Games for Milton Bradley; it was also used in the 1988 film 1969.
