Hi, Just a few quick sentences about who I am:
- I work at the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation at Iowa State University (Ames, Iowa)
- Part of my job is to help Iowa manufacturers who have quality control problems, another part is to work with aerospace inspections with the goal of improving safety
- I have experience with many forms of nondestructive testing (penetrant, magnetic particle, radiography, ultrasonic, eddy current, and visual), but specialize in just a couple
- While my informal education will not likely ever cease, my formal education includes an A.A.S. in Nondestructive Testing, a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering, and I recently began working on an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering.
