[edit] Robert DeFranco
Educator, Animal Behaviorist, Entrepreneur, Slum Lord, Rip Off Artist
Robert DeFranco was born and raised on Long Island and lived on both Long Island and in New York City before moving to Florida. DeFranco received his BA in Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook and his MS in psychology from Walden University. He is a doctoral student in educational psychology at Walden University. He is an educational and animal behavior consultant and president of the American College of Applied Science and the American Foundation for Animal Rescue.
DeFranco is a former radio talk show host in New York City (WEVD AM) and television talk show host (Queens Public Television) and appeared frequently on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox television as an animal behavior expert. DeFranco has also been quoted in the New York Times, New York Post, New York Daily News, and USA Today. DeFranco is the former animal columnist with the Queens Ledger Group newspapers. DeFranco is the former executive director of the Animal Behavior Center of New York and the Queens Community Animal Shelter in New York City, positions he held until 2005.
Since then Mr Defranco has been categorized as a slum lord. He has an ill manner when handling business with his rental properties. Dream Pond reserve is more like an organized brothel than a animal sanctuary. He rents his property to strippers' and the managers' of his favorite strip club. Robert Defranco is an oppurtunist and a predator who uses people and their weakness to strengthen his position in society. Many local contractors and past employees have expressed much distaste and warn others not to work for this individual. It's a shame that a man with such grand potential and wealth is so vile, heartless, and financially demeaning to other people.
