Having red links in articles is permitted; in some cases, it provides an incentive to create the article. That said, if you are interested in making the link blue, be sure to make sure that the content contains no original research, and maintains a neutral point of view. Additionally, make sure that the contribution satisfies the relevant policies and guidelines. These include verifiability, notability, and reliable sources.
