[edit] Suggested Move
Randy Baer > RD Reynolds
Nobody knows him by his real name and he always goes by "RD Reynolds". I would do this properly, but I'm not sure how to. ---SilentRAGE! 05:05, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] deletion
Geez, what is the deal (no pun intended) with people desperate to delete Reynolds and Wrestlecrap? Reynolds is a published author of 2 books, contributor to Fighting Spirit magazine and owner of a hugely popular website. Leave him alone. Scott Whatzisface hardly compares in terms of notability. Suriel1981 19:11, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Offensive
Could someone made reference to the fact that shortly after Anna Nicole Smith's untimely death, Reynolds made crude and unfunny jokes about her in Fighting Spirit Magazine? Personally I lost what little respect I had left for him from that. ALso, "calling out" people like Kevin Nash or Eric Bischoff, who obviously aren't going to answer his challenges, and the rampant homophobic comments on wrestlecrap.com. This is just one offensive, insulting guy. If his "jokes" were at least somewhat humorous it would be one thing, but they're usually not only in bad taste but rather lame as well.....1 May 2007
Sir the jokes about Miss Nicole Smith were published before her umtimley death and the "calling out" to Mr Nash and Mr Bischoff were to autograph the book The Death of WCW, which Nash did sign along with Vince Russo, and Sir as a bisexual I have never found any jokes from RD to be either offensive or homophobic. If I may, I would ask you to do more research on a subject before branding a person. From Square
I think you'll find that they were written after her murder. Anyway, what's the point of making fun of people who have no connection whatsoever to wrestling? If he's a wrestling critic/columnist/author, then what's he doing attacking people like that? Because she was in a movie with Joanie Laurer? Also, just because you don't have problems with his anti-homoseuxla jokes, doesn't mean it's not offensive. I myself am heterosexual, but have gay friends who refuse to read any of his stuff because of the constant gay jokes.
Sir I bought the magazine in question on the day of its release and it was before Miss Nicole Smith's death, the joke was about William Shatner and Donald Trump working with the WWE at Wrestlemania, he also mentioned OJ Simpson. And Sir if you can show me any jokes which Mr Reynolds did offend the gay community I will appologise but you are in my opinon attempting to bad mouth RD and Wrestlecrap with no reason. From Square
Yeah, no offense but under the offensive line of reasoning, basically every comedian ever should be deleted. It's comedy and it falls under freedom of speech. Jimmy Wang Yu: Version 2 03:53, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fruity Pebbles
What are you guys talking about he has nothing to do with wrestling he is the leader of the Fruity Pebbles Fan Club. Yes he does tool. He is the leader of the Fruity Pebbles fan club Agreed, The book he wrote was titled Death of WcW. Death of Fruity Pebbles you mean? Update: It has been edited back to its state from SilentRage's entry. COOLRUNNER87 03:14, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
2nd Update: Another comment about Fruity Pebbles when it has ZERO to do with RD Reynolds. Cut it. It is not funny. COOLRUNNER87 21:26, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
coolrunner is not funny
Please cite your source that Mr Reynolds is no longer involved with the Fruity Pebbles Fan Club, otherwise the info should stay in.
AHEM. Once again, there is no such thing as a Fruity Pebbles Fan Club. If you and your friends continue to vandalize this page, you will all be banned from editing Wikipedia. COOLRUNNER87 18:38, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
To the person who asked if a source verifying if Mr. Reynolds can be linked to not being in the "Fruity Pebbles Fan Club", can a source be provided to whether he IS involved with it? His name is obviously RD Reynolds, and all the info about his books are available not only at Wrestlecrap.com, but also Amazon.com, and the official website of ECW Press, the publisher of the Wrestlecrap book series. Also, info about what companies he has been active in is available on a self-produced DVD available for purchase on the official Wrestlecrap website. There is no mentions of any wrestling federations with Fruity or Pebbles in their names. And I believe in the original incarnation of this Wiki page, there was no mention of Fruity Pebbles, and the info was added recently, without sources. Fruity Pebbles are great to eat at breakfast, but have no place in this article.--Andy duke 19:13, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Mr. Reynolds is longer involved in the Fruity Pebbles fanclud but he still runs his Flintstones based site www.pebblescrap.com —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ECW500 (talk • contribs) 23:14, August 21, 2007 (UTC).
except for the fact that, you know, Pebblescrap.com doesn't exist.--Andy duke 04:38, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Perhaps after he died, the Pebblescrap.com site was taken down? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.158.152.198 (talk) 08:56, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
RD never died... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.193.145.200 (talk) 17:39, August 30, 2007 (UTC)
You sure about that?
RD Reynolds is a character. Randy Baer died, but someone else has taken over the RD Reynolds role. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sharkalanchequake (talk • contribs) 08:09, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's a good thing I just spoke to a dead man within the last few days then. For the last time, neither RD Reynolds or Randy Baer are dead. They are the same person and both alive and well. They are both also amazed that you people have nothing better to do than play around with his page. DX927 20:28, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Death..?
It says he died today but there's no source cited and I can't find one... 20.2.185.8 17:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Chances are that either...
1) He's not notable enough for anyone to bother psoting news of his passing
or
2)It was intended as a joke. Although this "minor internet wrestling name dies" bit was done to death(pun intended) last year with Scott Keith, whose wiki article now seems to have been deleted?...2 August 2007 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 137.158.128.105 (talk) 07:43:29, August 2, 2007 (UTC)
Wrong. He is in fact dead. At current time the ause of his death remains uncertain.
Funny, I can't find any citations on that including HIS OWN WEBSITE or its message board (where you think SOMEONE would have heard). Furthermore, he has posted on said website since the date of his "death".
To the above (anon, what a shock) poster: I'm reverting any edits that claim he is dead until someone can prove otherwise. Zipster 22:12, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
Glad this seems to be a hoaxIsaac Benaron 19:04, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- Seems hard to believe that a dead man would be able to post on his own forum a week after his death http://realwrestlecrap.proboards89.com/index.cgi?board=rdreynolds&action=display&thread=1180690728&page=10#1186602533 DX927

It could very well be that the "RD Reynolds" posting messages after his real death could be an imposter. It is not entirely improbable that someone could be using the NAME "RD Reynolds" and claiming to be the late Wrestlecrap Master.
- Or it could very well be possible that you are in fact a pathetic loser who has so much time on his hands that he feels the need to not only continue changing a page to say someone has died but change another page to just say the word "faggot." Now I'm not a betting man, but I think I would put a lot of money on me being right on this one. 24.110.124.227 03:03, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
You'd lose that bet Nige. This IP address is shared by literally hundreds(possibly even thousands) of people, and people who make some remarks can not be held responsible for other edits/commetns made by others with the same IP adress. The fact that you bothered to look up other edits by this (shared) IP address, also suggests that you are not in fact Mr Socialite, but rather one of the basement-dwelling masses of "Smart Marks". I bet you spend long hours with both of your friends discussing why Hulk Hogan wouldn't job to Bret Hart at Summerslam 1993, or why the Undertaker keeps getting pushed despite having only an average "workrate"? And yes, I would put money on that.
- For someone that isn't guilty, you sure got bent out of shape about it. What the hell is a "nige" anyway? FYI, it takes a grand total of 3 seconds to look up edits done by your IP, so nice try. And I would suggest that you don't make any bets since you're probably not old enough to legally gamble anyway. DX927 00:20, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
I am old enough to do anything that is legal. There is no such thing as "a nige", "Nige" is a shortened form of the name "Nigel". Since you're so fun of looking up stuff, I'll let you work out what it's a reference to. Also, this has gotten off the main topic as to whether Mr Reynolds is or isn't dead. I would say that there is no conclusive proof that he has actaully expired, and this is someone's idea of a joke. There's no need for you to get personal about it, and make insults that aren't even accurate.
Just to clear things up, RD is infact alive and kicking. Like previously stated, he posted on the message board after the wiki edit took place. The odds of it being an imposter are slim to none, as the account has been active since the beginning of the board almost 2 and a half years ago, and he is a global mod at the board,to boot. Also, he has mentioned that someone edited his wiki about his death on his weekly online radio show, after it happened. So, unless someone hacked his Proboards account, and can do a damn fine impression of him, and can fake his phone number so that when he called his co-host and good friend Blade Braxton it would appear to be RD's phone number, and be privy to information that internet wrestling websites, his publisher, his good friend and co-host Blade Braxton, and his own wife have yet to make public, I'm pretty sure its safe to say that he is infact very much alive.--Andy duke 19:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
RD is alive. The person who started the "death" story has admitted that he made it up as a rib. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blade Braxton (talk • contribs) 12:29, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Ahem, I never confessed. Oops. 69.208.252.20 22:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, well he's NOT dead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.245.168.172 (talk) 10:06, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
What proof have you that he is not dead? Why would someone report his death if he hadn't died?!
- The proof is right above you and has been stated numerous times. Why would someone report his death? Because they have nothing better to do than vandalize Wikipedia pages. Plain and simple. DX927 05:44, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blade
Should Blade get his own paragraph here, or prehaps on the Wrestlecrap page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.158.190.184 (talk) 13:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Apparently that's the point. ANY contribution to the article goes against wikipedia policy. This blocking doesn't only stop the "RD is a dead fag" vandals, it also stops people making constructive edits. Only the administrators can edit the page as they see fit. It's like hall monitors at junior high. That I think is the whole idea though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.245.129.55 (talk) 16:50, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Living People
{{editprotected}} Despite the claims made by vandals above, Reynolds is still alive, so could an admin please add Cat:Living people. Thanks in advance. Terraxos (talk) 23:45, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Date of Birth
On the wrestlecrap forums, they just put up a thing wishing RD a happy 39th birthday, so can anyone edit the page and put that he was born January 12, 1969?--Vyse24 (talk) 06:22, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] New Book
I suggest a minor edit and add in the fact that RD and Blade Braxton have authored a new book The Wrestlecrap Book of Lists and that it has been released now and is not just "upcoming"EricJosepi (talk) 02:28, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Few Things that could be added/used somehow.
For all of the stuff that was deleted about RD's indy wrestling career.
There's a review of the Worst of RD DVD which highlights his entire career on the indy scene.
Also here's the link to a recent interview he did with In Your Head (couldn't find Part 1 though)

Shouldn't the article mention The Wrestlecrap Book of Lists now? 81.80.174.165 (talk) 12:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Oh and also...
Nationality: White American? Shouldn't that simply be "American"? "White American" kind of make him seem like he's a white supremacist or something, which he's not, to my knowledge. 81.80.174.165 (talk) 13:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
It doesn't make him sound like a white supremacist, although it is unnecessary information here. If someone was referred to as an "African-American" would you say that he/she is a "black supremacist"? Of course, being "white" isn't a nationality at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.158.152.207 (talk) 13:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Star Ratings
Does anyone have a list of RD's star ratings? Specifically the ones he's given ***** to? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.158.152.206 (talk) 11:05, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Book of Lists released
The article needs to be updated now that the Wrestlecrap book of lists has been released. It was released in late 2007 (published by ECW Press). It was co-written by Wrestlecrap.com contributor Blade Braxton.
