[edit] Summary

I am making these VOACAP HF area coverage calculations public to help users better understand the use of the VOACAP software program (Windows X86 Platform). It is my hope that these calculations are used in all areas of Wikipedia that pertain to the technical issues related to shortwave broadcasting.

VOACAP software (display code, not scientific calculation code) exists under 'GFDL like' intellectual property usage rules. The graphical output of VOACAP can be placed into public domain (for educational, lobbying, technical illustration, etc ...) without any further restrictions.

The graphic output here that is being placed into public domain is derived from a series of small propagation research contracts with CBC-SRC, National Research Council (CHU Time Station), BBC WS, etc...

All parties have contractually released their calculations to the public domain.
