Razed in Black (abbr. <RiB>) is an electronic music act created by Romell Regulacion (vocals, keyboards, guitars). Razed in Black (commonly abbreviated RiB) was formed in Hawaii in 1994, and quickly got the attention of the Cleopatra record label. RiB's music combines elements of industrial, synth-pop, darkwave, and hardcore techno. Mostly an underground act, RiB have a particularly large following in the goth subculture. Romell has also released some albums and songs under the title of Transmutator, and even pits Razed in Black vs. Transmutator on some of his songs.
