Raymond S. Burton

Raymond S. "Ray" Burton (b. 1939), is a New Hampshire politician, currently serving on the Executive Council as the representative of District 1, or "The North Country". Known as the "Dean of the Council" Ray Burton (R) is one of the longest standing elected officials in the State of New Hampshire. His district is the largest in New Hampshire, extending from about twenty miles north of the state capital of Concord to the Canadian border.

Burton has served on the Executive Council for 28 of the last 30 years.

Burton was re elected in November of 2006 for yet another term on the Executive Council.

Mr. Burton resides in the town of Bath, New Hampshire.
