Raya-varam is a village in the macherla mandal, district of Guntur in the state of Andhra Pradesh,this is the great histrocial village in palnadu. India.[1]

Rayavaram is the very peaceful and pleasant village in the Palnadu.

Cotton, Chillies, Jute and Paddy are the main crops during theyear

Nearly 1000 families are staying in Rayavaram

Rayavaram is mainly divided as Thummepalli and rayavaram

One famous church is there in Rayavaram that is constructed 100 years ago.It was built in 1905.

Every year February 11th is the festival date in that church.

They have constructed a Mandiram of Our Lady of Lourdes on the main road and statue in the mandiram was brought from jesus birth place bethleham.The RCM school founded by catholic Dioscese, gave education to many people who settled now in USA,Dubai and UK.

The main asset of the village is limestone mines.The sand used for constructing Nagarjuna sagar Dam(One of the biggest dam in India) was supplied from this village.
