Ray Francis

Ray James Francis (March 8, 1893 - July 6, 1934) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball who played between 1922 and 1925 for the Washington Senators (1922), Detroit Tigers (1923), New York Yankees (1925) and Boston Red Sox (1925). Listed at 6' 1.5", 182 lb., Francis batted and threw left-handed. He was born in Sherman, Texas.
In a three-season career, Francis posted a 12-28 record with 96 strikeouts and a 4.65 ERA in 82 appearances, including 36 starts, 15 complete games, two shutouts, 25 games finished, 110 walks, and 337.0 innings of work.
Francis died in Atlanta, Georgia, at age 42.
