Rawlins Community College is a secondary school of about 1500 students situated in Quorn, Leicestershire, England.

Rawlins has Media Arts College status, and is partnered with the Number 2 Middle School in Luzhou, China.

They have a young adult special needs centre attached, known as Stride.

According to the BBC website Rawlins has above average exam results for Leicestershire.[citation needed]

At the beginning of the 2006 autumn term, Rawlins was divided into 6 houses. These are Bradgate (Purple), Beaumanor (Red), Swithland (Blue), Outwoods (Green), Beacon (Orange), and Buddon (Yellow).

In the 2006-2007 academic year, the House Challenge was won by Beaumanor house, in 2nd place was Bradgate, followed by Beacon, Outwoods, Swithland, and Buddon House

[edit] Headteacher change

David Brindley will retire form the helm of Rawlins after 8 years in July 2007. He will be replaced in September 2008 by Callum Orr.
