Rawa (town)

Rawa (Arabic: راوه) is a city in Iraq along the Euphrates River. It lies on the north bank of the river, across the much larger town of Anah. People from this city are known by the appellation ``Rawi or surname ``al-Rawi (الراوي). This town, being impoverished has never had electric facilities or sewage systems.
