Raveesh Mayya is an excellent IT Quizzer, an erudite programmer, an excellent dancer and an exemplary leader endowed with the skill of balancing his extra curricular activities and his academics.

Born to KM Radhakrishna Mayya, Professor of Mathematics and Veena R Mayya, proprieter of a DTP office, he started his schooling in Anugraha English Medium School, Ujire. Having completed his higher primary in Anugraha, he tookup his high school in SDM English Medium School, Ujire. He obtained his SSLC certificate with a Distinction, topping his high-school by securing 583/625. He then persued his PU in SDM College Ujire with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics ans Computer Science as his Core subjects.
He completed his PU course in 2005 with a score of 576/600 (96% aggr) and 98.33% in PCM. He secured the 43rd rank in CET Engineering in the year 2005 thus reserving a seat in the Electronics and Communications programme in PESIT one of the leading technical institutes in and around Bangalore.

He won The Most Talented Teenager a statewide talent hunt competition in 2002, conducted by Sandesha Foundation, Mangalore.
He grabbed The Most Talented Student award after winning a state-level talent hunt competition conducted by St. Alloysius College Mangalore in 2004.
He is the recepeint of Mahadeva Award 2006 from Mahadeva Adyayana Kendra, Makki, an award given to All round Achievers of the State.
He has won innumerous Prizes in Dancing including First Prize in national level contemporary dance competition(group) on behalf of Antaragni, The IIT Kanpur Fest.
He got 80% in his Senior Grade Music Examination(vocal) in 2002.
He was a Core member of Yakshagana team of SDM college which won the University level YakshaKoota competition. The tream has performed in prestigious stages like the Akhila Karnataka Samagra Yakshagana Sammelana held at Ravindra Kala Kshetra in 2004.

He is the author of a Tech Book titled BLITZ : The IT quiz book, published by Sapna Publishers, Bangalore. He got his book published at the age of 19, thus becoming the Youngest Author for Sapna Publisher and the Youngest Tech Book Author of Karnataka.
He has been chosen as the Microsoft Student Champ of PESIT from the year 2007.
He has successfully conducted quite a few Tech-Quizzes in the city of Bangalore.
