Ravne na Koroškem

Ravne na Koroškem (formerly also Gustanj; German: Gutenstein) is the capital and the largest city of province Carinthia (Koroška) / Meža Valley (German: Mießtal) and Jezersko (German: Seeland) in Slovenia. It is also the province's cultural and industrial centre. It received it's town privileges in 1952. The city has a 380 year long history of steel industry. The town belonged to Austria until 1919 (Treaty of St. Germain).
