Ravindran Kannan

Ravindran Kannan is an Indian mathematician who is currently the William K. Lanman Jr. Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at Yale University. He was notably the joint winner of the 1991 Fulkerson Prize in discrete mathematics for work on the volumes of convex bodies. He has also received a 1999 Alumnus Award from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay where he took his first degree in 1974.
