Ravage is a Heavy Metal band from Boston, MA playing traditional US Power Metal in the vein of bands such as Omen or Attacker.
Formed in 1995 by singer Alec "Al Ravage" Firicano and including guitarist brother Eli Firicano, the band has gone through numerous line up changes over the years with Nick Izzo becoming a stable member on guitar in 2001.
After recording numerous demos throughout the years, Ravage finally put out a worthwhile EP titled "The Curse of Heaven" in 2003 which gained them significant attention in the Metal press. Soon after, work was started on their first full length album, "Spectral Rider". "Spectral Rider" was finished in 2005 gaining good reviews all over and scoring the band a spot on Germany's 2006 "Swordbrothers Festival" alongside fellow US Power Metal bands Attacker and Deadly Blessing. Ravage is currently finishing up work on their second full length album titled "Damnation"; due for an early 2008 release.
