-What is the policy of self-promotion? It clearly seems that Salinaslaredo is pumping up many things about Raul G. Salinas. Some policing needs to be done.

  • This page cites no sources, and is unverifiable. It is original research. User salinaslaredo may be biased, and this page is looking like a political advertisement environment. Suggestion: User salinaslaredo, please make a Raul G. Salinas website on the web instead of using wikipedia to place the politicking info. Then make a reference to the site on the links page. I am probably sure that there is a City of Laredo Mayor's site that can be hyperlinked. As suggested in the WikiProject FBI box, cite cite cite. Cheezwzl 18:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
  • I wrote the first part of the article, but not the part after Salinas took office. I have now edited that additional material. It had a lot of grammatical errors and misleading and repetitive and run-on sentences. There is no original research. The salinaslaredo user took information from the Laredo Morning Times. I will watch this occasionally and see if salinaslaredo adds other material. I am not sure if salinaslaredo is boosting Salinas or poking fun at the city of Laredo. I kept all of his points but reduced the length to make it clearer. I don't see anything libelous here. These are all public figures making statements about each other. There is no proveable malice or reckless disregard for the truth.

To those with objections to the article, please re-read it. I think it is now acceptable. If so, remove the tag.

Either way, it still reads like Mayor Salinas wrote it himself.
