Dear Barbara, the 1720 to 1755 historical records of Sarbat Khalsa for misls held at Amritsar list Nawab Kapur Singh Virk. Brief description: originally (18th century) the third family name was used but it faded out of fashion in the 19th century but re-emerged in the 20th century in Sikh families.--Sikh historian 21:46, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
