I am a newbie at wikipedia, and am not yet familiar with all the correct editing procedures. I have repeatedly attempted to edit the rattlesnake island entry, but have not been successful in securing deletion of a posting in the history of this article. Can anyone tell me how to secure speedy deletion of an article on the basis of the author requesting its deletion?
