Rattling Sabres

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rattling Sabres were a 5 piece band based in Australia.

Their major claim to fame was a single released in 1987 titled "All Fired Up", which charted nationally. This became a top 10 hit for Pat Benatar a year later. Regrettably EMI could not keep up with demand at the time, and there was a long delay before the next batch of vinyl came through. By this time, the hype was gone, and so too was another Australian Band.

Band members included:

  • Robert Price (vocals)
  • Kerryn Tolhurst (lead guitar)

Kerryn Tolhurst also was in The Dingoes. He also produced am album for Russell Crowe's band 30 odd foot of grunt.
