[edit] Career
He came up through KK Partizan's system, before making himself eligible for 2001 NBA Draft. He ended up not getting selected but still found himself on the Detroit Pistons roster to start the 2001/02 season. Varda ended up spending 2 seasons in the NBA on the rosters of the Pistons and Washington Wizards but during that time he was only featured in a single official game (played 6 minutes and scored 5 points).
Over the summer 2003, he came back to Asia with Beşiktaş of the Turkish Basketball League but left the club in mid-season.
In the season 2006/2007 he played in the ACB with Real Madrid Baloncesto, but he could not finish the season due to an anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.[1]
On 29th of October, 2007, he signed for all the championship in the Spanish ACB for the ViveMenorca team, having recovered from a bad injury.[2]
