Rathi

Rathi or Rathee is a clan of Jats found in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in India. Rathi is also a very common surname in Maheshwaris. Rathi is also a dialect of Punjabi spoken in Ratia and Tohana in present day Haryana, it is called Rathi after the Rathore rajputs who held sway on this area. Many of them had been converted to Islam and migrated to Pakistan at its creation in 1947.
