Rathakara ( also called as Taksha or Takshak ) as mentioned in Rigveda , Vishwakarma's grandson , ie Vishwakarma's youngest son's ( ie Suparna ) son.He is mentioned as Rathakara in Rigveda as he designed Ratha needed for the Yajna ( as mentioned in Rigveda and Medini Kosha ).
Lord Indra praises him in one of the Mandala of Rigveda: "I give you the right to accept all the Somarasa and the Havis offered in the holy fire, and you deserve the main part in the Yajna".
It is mentioned that he married sage "Jaimini's" daughter "Chandrika".
