Rateče is an old and beautiful village near Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. It has one of the oldest churches in Slovenia, the Church of St. Thomas.
The winters are very cold and there's lots of snow for skiing. Near the village in the valley Planica are a few ski jumping hills. One of them is the biggest in the world.
