RKSP is a political, non-profit making and secular organization. The motto of RKSP is to facilitate the process of development of the villages and the villagers and was founded by Mr. Gopal Rai, who is social worker by birth. This motto has been the guiding principle to evolve and plan activities that will lubricate the process of sustainable development in the villages. It has always concentrated on need based development, with a view to meet the basic needs of the villages and the villagers. It will not be besides the point to say that development initiatives go on unabated silently without any kind of publicity.
RKSP commenced its social development initiatives in Rural and Urban Areas in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2003 and got registered with Election Commission of India in 2003. The humble beginning that took off in the year 2005, is still quite vibrant and it has been able to keep the ball rolling with the cooperation and support from the, Government, International Donor Agencies, Well-wishers and above all the people at large whom it has been trying to serve.
Slowly and steadily RKSP has passed many a summer and it has been actively involved in implementing social development activities for the last 3 years. All these years has consistently striven to empower the underprivileged, especially women and children through the implementation of various development initiatives, like, Crech, Primary Education, Skill Development Training, Health Care, Awareness Generation, Micro Finance, Adopt A Granny, Low Cost Sanitation, Animal Husbandry, Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, Human Resource Development Training and Child Sponsorship Programme. All these initiatives have breathed in and air of confidence to those who have so long remained on the sidelines cursing their fate.
The intervention of RKSP has therefore opened up immense possibilities for the underprivileged in its area of operation to become active to take the plunge to re-shape their lives, which have so long remained inert due to lack of support and opportunities.
