Rastar

Rastar was an American film company founded in 1966 [1] by Hollywood producer Ray Stark, who was involved in most of its productions. Its first film was 1969's Funny Girl. [2]

The company was most active during the 1970s and 1980s, with movies like Seems Like Old Times, and Annie. The company's most notable films include Steel Magnolias, and the Smokey and the Bandit trio of films. 2001's Alley Cats Strike, a Disney Channel Original Movie, was one of its last endeavors. They also produced Michael J. Fox's The Secret Of My Success.
