Rasen-Antholz (Italian: Rasun-Anterselva; Archaic (1050 AD): Resine) is a municipality in the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 110 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 60 km northeast of the city of Bolzano, on the border with Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,776 and an area of 121.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Rasen-Antholz contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Anterselva di Sotto (Antholz Niedertal), Anterselva di Mezzo (Antholz Mittertal), Anterselva di Sopra (Antholz Obertal), Nove Case (Neunhäusern), Rasun di Sotto (Niederrasen) and Rasun di Sopra (Oberrasen).
Rasen-Antholz borders the following municipalities: Bruneck, Gsies, Percha, Olang, Sand in Taufers, Welsberg-Taisten and Sankt Jakob in Defereggen (Austria).
