Rasayani is located in Raigad district in Maharashtra, India. The population of the town is about 80,000. It lies on Mumbai Pune National Highway (NH-4). The nearest Town and Rail Head is Karjat. Rasayani is a Konkan railway stop just after Panvel

It is basically an industrial town. Companies situated in Rasayani include Reliance, Cipla, Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd, Hindustan Insecticides Ltd, Siyaram, Santogen etc.

The Karnala Bird sanctuary is located about 12 km from Rasayani. Panvel, Karjat, Pen Khopoli are the nearest cities.
