Talk:Rapid arnis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I started fixing the page up a bit according to wiki guidelines. Wikipedia prefers martial arts titles be kept to a minimum as they tend to confuse non-practitioners. Secondly, especially at the end, the article reads like an advertisement. That had to change - its supposed to be an encyclopedia. I also added Categorized and Evaluated the article. The article still needs some work but it is a good start. Some of the stuff I removed was redundant (mentioned more than once).Peter Rehse 00:38, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Nice additions - I moved the image to better fill white space and fixed a couple of links to the correct format. Wikipedia has strict policy on writting autobiographical articles but in any case Pat O'Malley is notable for heading Rapid arnis and his page basically repeats what is on that page. In my opinion it is also bad form to delete the reference to John Harvey's organization (his page refers to the connection to Rapid arnis). Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopedia not just a show horse for an organization (WP:NPOV). The above is meant to help. Cheers Peter Rehse 02:38, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
