[edit] Chronicles link

Is it OK to link to an online edition of the Chronicles? Please check out the link and tell me what you think! --Cobwebber 11:37, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Somebody from the University of Pennsylvania just told me "Everything on our website is copyright protected by The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania". So I guess I'd better remove the link to Chronicles. Same thing in the Reginald Wolfe article. -Cobwebber 14:01, 11 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Hi, Cobwebber! Even if the material is under the Univ of Pennsylvania's copyright, there's no reason we can't include a hyperlink to their site. (Purely as a side note, although they may claim copyright, they can't really own copyright on scans of public domain works--but that's a whole different battle that we don't have to concern ourselves with). So, anyway, I'll restore the link. PRiis 00:59, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] John Leland's "Dank Chronic"

The reference to Leland's "dank chronic" is obviously a reference to marijuana, and also obviously vandalism. Can someone please fix this? I can't determine if there is an earlier revision to which we can draw from.99.231.168.66 (talk) 07:23, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Title

The correct title of this article is Holinshed's Chronicles. One should realise that in reading "He became known only by the Chronicles of England, Scotland and Ireland, and all the information we have about him is related to this work.'" The subject is Holinshed's Chronicles. --Wetman (talk) 04:47, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
