The Rapid Anti-Robot Assault Team (RAAT for short) was a fictional United States special operations group in the Marvel Transformers comics.
The group was specifically targeted towards protecting humans from being harmed by the Transformers, and it frequently did so by attacking the giant robots by force. This was usually effective, but RAAT had one fatal flaw: It did not distinguish between Autobots and Decepticons, which caused it to sometimes hinder the Autobots' efforts to protect humans from the Decepticons.
After G. B. Blackrock had convinced the United States government that the Autobots were good guys, RAAT was discontinued. Blackrock's own superhero team, the Neo-Knights, partly served as a replacement for RAAT.
