Raphappy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
RapHappy is an online hip-hop community site with social networking aspects that lets users to record their rap sessions and submit it directly to the website.[1] The site enables members to dynamically collaborate with other artists, rate and comment on submissions, and participate in battles for a chance to collect cash and other prizes.[1] The site can also be used as a self-promotion tool for aspiring musicians, a communication tool for recording private audio messages for friends, or simply as an artistic medium.[2]
New York City based RapHappy made its debut in September 2007, after winning the MTVu and Cisco sponsored contest 'Digital Incubator'. The website later added features such as Facebook application and hot number that users can dial-in and record rap sessions.
