Raphael Jose Botti (born February 23, 1981) simply known as Botti, is a Brazilian professional footballer. He plays as a midfilder for Vissel Kobe.
Botti is a hard-working and talented player who may not get on the scoresheet too often – just 14 times in his five years in Jeonbuk – but creates opportunities for others.
Botti started his professional football career with Vasco da Gama and had been playing for Jeonbuk FC(2002~06). Botti had saved his best performances for the AFC Champions League and scored an important goal at the 1st leg of final.
However, Botti has transferred to Vissel Kobe after FIFA Club World Cup 'cause Choi Kang-Hee, the manager of Jeonbuk FC, didn't play Botti during 2006 season. Botti might feel that his status was gone from bad to worse in Jeonbuk although many fans loved him.
