I'm an 18-year-old journalism student from Madison, WI. I enjoy writing, reading, and snowboarding, among other things. I'm particularly fascinated by the Sixties and music & literature from that time period. Hippie is, perhaps, a relatively accurate classification under which to place me. I snowboard avidly and spent two winters working as a snowboard instructor at Tyrol Basin Ski Area in Mt. Horeb, WI (Tyrol was a snowboard mecca in the early Nineties and is still well known for its Summer Snow Jam in June). I am a huge fan of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, thus the username.

I've developed something of a Wikipedia addiction as of late and I believe it's an incredible and important project. I'm happy to be a part of it and to help further its advancement. I seek only to affect positive change on WP. If I happen to make a mistake, please let me know and help me correct it.
