[edit] License tagging for Image:Balderdash and Piffle dogs dinner.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Balderdash and Piffle dogs dinner.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:06, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for your edit
thank you for your edit to Annabel Karmel. however, please note wikipedia is not an advertising service.
O keyes 09:21, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- While Wikipedia is not an advertising service, useful contributions, even by those to some degree involved with the subject, are welcome, assuming conflict of interest concerns are managed. I came here to thank you for improving Annabel Karmel which I had placed the peacock tag on. The language is much more neutral now, and more appropriate for an encyclopedia.
- If you are associated with Random House, which your username and your edits seem to suggest, you may wish to consider declaring an interest on your User page to preempt criticism and to alert people to a possible bias. - Fordan (talk) 18:37, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Denaissance
A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Denaissance, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. greenrd 11:53, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Living people
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia but please note that the correct category for biographies of living people (such as Howard Dully) is "Living people" and not "Living persons". Thanks again! - Dravecky 21:55, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 September 3#Category:Living people. —Centrx→talk • 18:04, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Tony Years.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:The Tony Years.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid.
