No, I disagree. The IRS site is the best source for the information and without totally knowing all the Wikipedia policies I feel they'd discourage sponsorship of a particular site that requires a download of ad-sponsored material. Profiled by the media or not, the IRS is the most authoritative source. Your tone is unappreciated also. Sure I'm new, but I expressed that specifically on my page, so you don't have to bite my head off about it. Somerut (talk) 09:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

And it's self promotion. Naughty naughty. Somerut (talk) 09:19, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Please do not make changes as you have done for the links on the tax rebate page. It's not allowed. If you disagree, discuss on the talk page, but don't just re-install the links. Tb (talk) 18:31, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your contributions are welcomed, however, one or more of the external links you added in this edit to Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thanks. Thingg 18:42, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

You have now reverted other users' changes on Economic_Stimulus_Act_of_2008 more than three times in one day. This is a violation of a core wikipedia policy. You have been asked by two separate editors to discuss the change on the talk page and you have not done so. You have deleted the link to the IRS for no reason except to try and channel traffic to your own site. Please review WP:EL for the policy on external links, and then discuss the link in the talk page without further violations of WP:3RR. Tb (talk) 18:44, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

The recent edit you made to Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. CanadianLinuxUser (talk) 18:46, 3 May 2008 (UTC))

Please do not add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Thingg 18:46, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. Thingg 18:47, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violation of the spam guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:49, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

It is not permitted to edit other user's pages without permission. You are free to add comments to the talk page, but editing User:Tb is not allowed. Please do not do so again. Tb (talk) 18:50, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Please review in particular WP:3RR and WP:EL#ADV which address the reasons you have been blocked. Tb (talk) 18:59, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

It has become apparent that your account is only being used for spamming inappropriate external links or self-promotion, so it has been blocked indefinitely. Wikipedia is NOT a "repository of links" or a "vehicle for advertising" and persistent spammers will also have their websites blacklisted.
