Ranua is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Lapland. The municipality has a population of 4,922 and covers an area of 3,694.45 km² of which 230.92 km² is water. The population density is 1.4 inhabitants per km².

The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The best known attraction is Ranua Zoo, a wildlife park of arctic animal species which is the northernmost zoo in the world.
